Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
